Stuart Bradie Signs CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion Pledge

KBR President and CEO Stuart Bradie is joining over 2,000 other chief executive officers by signing the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion pledge. It is the largest CEO-driven business commitment to advance diversity and inclusion (D&I) in the workplace.

"KBR is actively working to create a more diverse and inclusive workplace and this pledge reinforces our commitment to promote D&I efforts in everything we do," said Bradie. "Fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace creates greater innovation and collaboration, which makes us a stronger company and empowers us to better serve our employees and customers."

The CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion commitment is driven by a realization that addressing D&I is a societal issue, not a competitive issue. The pledge acknowledges that executives play a key role in positive change. Companies from 85 different industries have taken part in the pledge, and signees are given unique perspective on developing a safe and comfortable work environment for all employees.

Over the past several years, KBR has taken concrete action to advance its D&I journey. In early 2020, KBR created a D&I council comprised of KBR employees from around the world. This team assesses, develops, evaluates and champions local and company-wide programs that help KBR in our journey to become a more inclusive and diverse organization.

KBR has also championed the creation of numerous new employee resource groups (ERGs) including Pride & Allies and Veteran’s at KBR. ERGs will continue to be formed and expanded as interest emerges.

In addition, KBR has expanded the D&I training available to employees and expanded our diversity outreach to targeted universities and recruitment events.

At KBR, we aim to offer growth opportunities to all employees and create a culture of belonging where our individual differences and combined expertise help us deliver solutions for our customers’ most critical missions.
