Tristan Gough appreciates that employees at all levels across KBR are given the autonomy to develop the work practices that allow them to perform at their peak and challenge the status quo.
And challenging the status quo is what Tristan and his teams do every day developing mission-planning software for integration with Australian Defense aviation platforms.
Tristan relishes his unique role in the Australian defense industry, which requires him to work closely with both the customer and end-user community.
“Being seen as a trusted partner to the customer is at the heart of everything we do,” Tristan said. “It’s really rewarding to be a key part of this capability improvement and to see our products in use.”
In fact, seeing the software developed by his teams being used to plan helicopter missions delivering aid to the people of Fiji after a devastating cyclone was a special career highlight.
Outside of work, Tristan loves being outdoors and teaching his children about the wildlife around them.
