The Team Behind the Mission
We invite you to join KBR at the 2021 Joint Navigation Conference to learn more about our years of experience and extensive knowledge in the complete Position, Navigation, and Timing domain.
KBR seeks to provide solutions to the toughest Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) problems through a complete systems and integration approach to include navigation systems, operations, performance, prototyping, and engineering. We assist our customers ensuring that the defense community maintains PNT supremacy.
NAVWAR is at the forefront of Information Operations. KBR provides services that leverage its expertise and experience to fit customer's needs. Our engineers develop and design test vectors to evaluate global navigation satellite systems (GNSS). GNSS user equipment (UE) must deliver real-world performance in challenged environments and we’re able to provide in-depth analyses of subsequent UE performance, beyond the specification sheet, within similar environments and situations. This enables the defense community to understand the effects of emerging threats and to develop contingency plans in advance of operations to ensure mission success.
KBR provides advanced performance assessments of user equipment supported by its automated GNSS testing tools. This permits customers to receive faster results with time for them to analyze and communicate outcomes. Our timely and accurate results have proven that this service is invaluable to ensure our customers are choosing the right user equipment for the right operational use. Combined with the most advanced modeling and simulation tools, KBR can readily conduct both hardware-in-the-loop and field testing.
An inadvertent potential threat to assured position, navigation, and timing is uneducated and uninformed users. Through our analysis, lab and field test activities, we are expert users of a multitude of military and commercial GNSS receivers and their proper testing. KBR works with DoD and several manufacturers to train for the proficient operation of GNSS user equipment as well as test planning and execution. We seek to bridge the gap between capability and operation to enable our customers to be more knowledgeable about their equipment and tools.
KBR offers years of experience in operating GNSS simulators used in various agencies around the country. With the growing demand for GNSS simulators, a common understanding of functionality is important. In order to create the best test vector, you have to be familiar with your hardware. This service provides an understanding of GNSS simulators, their discriminating factors, and their operation in testing.
Civilian and military infrastructures rely heavily on the position, velocity and timing information received from GNSS. KBR specializes in providing realistic, relevant & rigorous testing and evaluation of the software and hardware utilized to provide, verify and assure GNSS data. Testing is done with hardware-in-the-loop or in live field environments.
