Ammonia 6000® Webinar
KBR invites you to a 45-minute webinar on “Ammonia 6000 – Technology Solution for Large Scale Blue Ammonia Plants of the Future.”
About the Topic
KBR offers commercially well-proven and highly reliable Purifier™ based ammonia technology to achieve breakthrough economy of scale and expand single-train production capacity beyond 6000 MTPD, using industry-standard equipment sizes and catalysts. KBR’s proprietary Purifier based technology for 6000 MTPD capacity uses the same proven and highly reliable design and equipment as used in established single-stream plants. Purifier technology is used in 39 plants worldwide.
Purifier ammonia process uses a single top-fired Primary Reformer that is not limited by size; KBR technology does not use an Auto Thermal Reformer (ATR) to overcome the primary reformer size. The Purifier ammonia process exhibits an unmatched proven low energy consumption of just 6.49 Gcal/MT (LHV basis).
During this webinar, KBR will highlight:
- KBR’s Purifier technology – an overview
- How Purifier design guarantees safety and reliability
- How Purifier design entails a very low total cost of ownership
- Salient features of the KBR flowsheet for ammonia capacity >/= 6000 MTPD
- Comparison of KBR Purifier process with ATR-based process for large capacity ammonia plants
