KBR Awarded Gold in UK Defence Employer Recognition Scheme

Publish date

KBR is pleased to announce that it has earned the Gold Award as part of the 2024 UK Defence Employer Recognition Scheme, once again affirming its steadfast commitment to supporting military reservist and veteran employees and their spouses in the UK.

This latest award builds on KBR’s strong support of the UK Armed Forces Covenant since 2014, having maintained gold status since 2019, and the recent announcement of KBR becoming a 2025 Military Friendly® Employers gold status designation in the U.S. Frazer-Nash Consultancy, a KBR Company, has also achieved gold in the employer recognition scheme in the UK.

“We are delighted to have once again been recognised for our commitment to reservists, veterans and their families” said Paul O’Shaughnessy, Vice President, Defence & Nuclear Technology Solutions. “The contribution they make at KBR cannot be understated, and receiving the gold ERS award affirms both our support to defence and the armed forces community, and how strongly our values as an organisation align with those of the Armed Forces Covenant.”

In the UK, KBR now employs over 280 reservists, veterans or military spouse/partners. The company also has several initiatives to support our military-connected employees, including the Armed Forces Community employee resource group which brings together veterans, reservists, spouses and supporters across KBR. This community respects and honours the sacrifice and commitment of its members and raises awareness for issues and events related to the Armed Forces Community.
