Consolidation of our London Operations Centres
We are pleased to inform you that we will be consolidating KBR’s London Operations in Greenford and Leatherhead into one Centre of Excellence at our Leatherhead campus.
Our decision is based on business sustainability, project delivery, changes in global oil price – and its impact on investment decisions, project economics and execution costs. We have developed and are implementing an organisation that will allow us to successfully service our customers in a very competitive market place. You will be aware that many of our customers and competitors are undergoing similar re-organisations and consolidations as a direct response to current global oil and gas market conditions.
Our move to the Leatherhead campus will achieve: Better utilisation of our resources, expertise, systems and tools covering all areas of the Hydrocarbon value chain including LNG, Upstream and Downstream. More efficient project delivery, providing a consistent approach to all our work KBR will remain a global leader within the hydrocarbons market and specifically in the LNG, Upstream and Downstream markets. We will continue to be a market-facing, customer-focused organisation providing a consistent level of quality delivery across the world.
With customers and their projects at the heart of this decision, the consolidation of our London Operations will allow KBR to bring its extensive experience in delivering Offshore and FPSO projects combined with our world leading LNG expertise together, for the development of floating and near-shore LNG liquefaction facilities from one centre of excellence.
Your organization is critical to the current and future success of our business and our focus remains on providing you with excellent service. While we work through this process, our top priority is continuing to serve you, and I want to reassure you that this will be a smooth transition and one that we plan to complete by end of June 2015.
