KBR Awarded Delivery Partner Contract for UK Transforming Forensics Programme

HOUSTON

KBR, Inc. announced today it has been awarded a contract to act as delivery partner supporting the Transforming Forensics Programme on behalf of the UK National Police Chief's Council and the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners.

The goal of Transforming Forensics is to design and deliver enhanced forensic capabilities that offer better services to the criminal justice system and improved public protection. Under the terms of the contract, KBR will work alongside forensics and policing experts across the UK to support in the delivery of modern and efficient forensic services ensuring consistent and high quality delivery, innovation, training and support. KBR will provide project and program management, design, communications, change and technical expertise amongst other services.

The work, which will be performed over the next two years, builds on KBR's growing portfolio of UK Government contracts where KBR is already delivering professional services to a range of customers including the Home Office and the Metropolitan Police Service.

Revenue associated with this project will be booked into backlog of unfilled orders for KBR's Government Services Business Segment in Q3 2017.
