KBR Awarded Ammonia Plant Revamp Contract in India

KBR, Inc. (NYSE: KBR) announced today it has been awarded a contract by Krishak Bharati Cooperative Ltd (KRIBHCO) for a revamp of its ammonia plant at Hazira, India.

Under the terms of this contract, KBR will provide technology licensing and basic engineering design (LBED) for a revamp of the KRIBHCO ammonia plant at Hazira, India.

"KRIBHCO was one of the first clients in India to implement KBR's Purifier Ammonia technology," said John Derbyshire, President, KBR Technology. "This contract emphasizes the continued trust and confidence that KRIBHCO has in KBR Ammonia technology and strengthens our long standing partnership."

KBR is a leader across the world in ammonia technology and has been involved in the licensing, design, engineering, and/or construction of more than 230 grass roots ammonia plants and over 100 revamp ammonia projects globally.

Estimated revenue associated with this project was booked into backlog of unfilled orders for KBR's Technology & Consulting Business Segment in FY 2017.
