KBR is delighted to announce that the company has once again achieved a Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Award for health and safety. This is the 14th consecutive year that KBR has gained the golden accolade. The company is also the proud recipient of a coveted RoSPA President’s Award.

The RoSPA Awards is one of the most prestigious, widely recognized health and safety schemes in the world, attracting almost 2,000 entries from more than 50 countries each year. To achieve a Gold Award, organizations must demonstrate a very high level of health and safety performance with well-developed occupational health and safety management systems and culture, outstanding control of risk, and very low levels of error, harm and loss.

KBR’s remarkable achievement of 14 back-to-back golds reflects the longstanding, consistent commitment to achieving health and safety excellence. This is embodied in the company’s Zero Harm culture, which empowers colleagues and customers to adopt a safety-centric mindset and have the courage to care both within and outside the workplace.

Laura Holley, director of HSSE for Government Solutions International (GSI), said, “This is an honor for the whole team and recognizes our ongoing determination to go the extra mile when it comes to health and safety. It’s a testament to our team of teams and I would like to thank everyone for their contributions and enduring commitment.”

Paul Kahn, President of GSI, said, “This award is the culmination of a huge amount of hard work and a credit to the team’s collective effort to drive continuous improvement and achieve world-class health and safety standards. As a company, we believe that zero incidents is an achievable goal and are committed to Zero Harm 24/7. It’s not only about doing what’s right to keep ourselves, our families and our colleagues safe and healthy – it’s also about doing what’s right for our planet, our communities and our business.”
