KBR Named Design Team Leader for Loop 375 Border Highway West Extension Project

Houston, Texas - October 17, 2014 - KBR Inc. (NYSE: KBR) announced today that it is the design team leader for the Abrams-Kiewit Joint Venture Loop 375 Border Highway West Extension Project located in El Paso, Texas.

The Texas Transportation Commission recently awarded Abrams-Kiewit JV the design-build agreement for the project.

Under the terms of the contract, KBR will design a new four-lane toll facility, including a new roadway, bridge, drainage, and traffic operations resulting in a continuous free-flow route through the downtown area of El Paso and an alternative east-west route to facilitate I-10 traffic.

Expected revenue from the contract will be included in the third quarter 2014 backlog of unfilled orders for the Infrastructure, Government and Power segment. The contract value was not disclosed.
