KBR has partnered with the Huntsville Madison County Chamber of Commerce and Team USA for the upcoming U.S. Paralympics Cycling Open presented by Toyota. Currently, KBR has three offices in Huntsville, Alabama for efforts on a variety of defense projects, from intelligence and directed energy to human space exploration and foreign military sales. As such, we are proud to partner with U.S. Paralympics to support Team USA’s advancement.

Race Details:

In mid-April, the U.S. Paralympics Cycling team is coming to Huntsville, Alabama, to begin its four domestic cycling events ahead of the Paralympic Games in Tokyo this summer. Cummings Research Park will be the location for the first qualifying race, the U.S. Paralympics Cycling Open. More than 100 athletes are expected to participate in the race.  The Paralympic competition program includes sprints, individual pursuits, the 1000m time trial, road races and road time trials for both individuals and teams.

Athletes must register to participate, but spectating is free. There will also be some ticketed opportunities at the event. Join KBR in supporting the action and find out which Para athletes will qualify for Team USA!
