We invite you to join KBR on Dec. 10 for an hour-long panel and presentation discussing military readiness relating to human performance during stressful times. KBR’s leading human performance experts from the U.S. military’s Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF) contract will explain how daily stressors impact performance and how to manage stress in this uncertain, evolving world. The panel will explore subtle threats to human performance and readiness, along with actionable strategies to affect emotion and relationship management.

About the Panel
The Team Behind the Warrior
KBR’s Health and Human Performance unit is focused on maintaining warrior readiness during multi-domain operations in austere environments. KBR’s expertise includes support for the Special Operations Forces and more than 50 years aiding NASA’s $1 billion Human Health and Performance Contract at Johnson Space Center. These experiences help to optimize resilience and establish best practices throughout all missions and terrains as they relate to the mind, body and soul.

Daria Putzier, Senior Program Manager, Health and Human Performance
- 27+ years of army experience attaining the rank of Colonel
- 22+ years of experience supplying global healthcare planning and operations in garrison and tactical operations OCONUS and CONUS
- 3+ years of experience managing a $38M annual budget for U.S. Army Surgeon General authoring and directing policies, procedures, doctrine, regulations and oversight of medical training, readiness and protection for the Army
- Led and managed large-scale complex healthcare programs globally for OTSG/USAMEDCOM and USASOC
- 3+ years of experience in training, readiness, simulations, security and emergency management for over 150K medical personnel located on five continents, in 11 time zones at 616 facilities serving more than 3.8 million people
Will Meeks, Psy.D, Director, Behavioral Health, POTFF
- 17+ years as a clinical therapist in a private practice setting
- Diverse background supporting the MFLC Program (Adult, Embedded, SOCOM, CYB)
- Strong focus on stress management, anger management, and resiliency skills
- Practical knowledge of DOCPERs process and SOFA requirements
- Field experience in all positions of the MFLC program
- Integrate and build team capabilities in order to collaborate more effectively with all stakeholders
Holly Robles, Ph.D., Senior Program Manager, Human Health and Performance
- Senior counseling director with specializations in quality improvement and risk assessment and management
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and author of multiple policies, processes, procedures, manuals and trainings on effective counseling, prevention and crisis intervention services with DoD as well as local and state level agencies.
- 28+ years of experience in the mental health field in military and senior leadership positions providing counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, service member families and schools, OCONUS and CONUS
- Actively licensed at the independent practice level in Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC Supervisor, Certified Clinical Supervisor and a National Certified Counselor
Christine M. Sanchez, Ph.D., CMPC, BCB Mental Performance Consultant
- Specializes in providing mental skills training and executive coaching for optimal performance in high pressure scenarios
- 15+ years of experience working with elite branches of the military, first responders, athletes, and other performers who desire to unlock their true potential
- Best known for her work targeting mindful performance under pressure, productive failures, and well-being optimization
- Routinely integrates biofeedback technology for facilitating optimal psycho-physiological regulation of performance states
- Actively speaks to domestic and international audiences with a variety of high-performance populations
- Member of the Association of Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback and is Board Certified in Biofeedback (BCB) through the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA)
- Certified 200-hour Registered Yoga Instructor (RYT-200) and routinely integrates yoga (Yin, Restorative, and Yoga Nidra) as restorative practices into individualized training plans for sustaining optimal performance
- Currently pursuing her International Coaching Federation (ICF) –Associate Certified Coach (ACC) status
Tim Smith, Senior Program Manager, Health Research and Development, Space and Mission Solutions
- Nearly 25 years in the U.S. Air Force as a Medical Service Corps officer, specializing in medical readiness, patient evacuation, and disaster preparedness.
- As the Chief of Medical Readiness for Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command, he directed the training and readiness for 3,000+ medical professionals and programmed training resources for DoD Centers for Sustainment of Trauma and Readiness Skills (C-STARS).
- Currently manages multi-year research projects such as Optimization of Warfighter Return-to-Duty during Prolonged Care Scenarios; Assessment of Pilot Physiological and Cognitive Performance; Modeling of Aeromedical Evacuation Crews; and various studies for the Quantification of MRI and Serological Effects of High Altitude on the Brain.
- M.S. in Military Operational Art and Science from Air University and B.S. in Computer Systems from McKendree University.
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Information Management Systems.
- Experienced developer/programmer and spearheaded the development of the KBR Integrated Data Repository.
