JFK to the Moon Speech 60th Anniversary Event at Rice University
Join KBR, NASA and other space industry leaders at Rice University as we celebrate the 60th anniversary of JFK’s “We Choose to Go to the Moon” speech. We invite all attendees to visit KBR in the Waltrip Center to speak with KBR human exploration experts and get your picture with a real astronaut spacesuit! KBR’s exhibit space will be filled with opportunities to learn more about how our team supports astronauts and launches, from base operations at Kennedy Space Center and astronaut medical care to KBR’s current spacesuit maintenance and development of the next-generation version for society’s return to the moon.
Exhibit times:
- Saturday, September 10: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Sunday, September 11: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Monday, September 12: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
