Advanced Maui Optical and Space Surveillance Technologies Conference

19 Sep 2023 - 22 Sep 2023

Wailea Beach Resort Marriott, Maui, Hawaii

2023 AMOS Kokua Conference Sponsor

KBR acknowledges the significant impact that the recent fires that occurred on Maui have had on the local population. Please see the statement below from the AMOS team as of Aug 17, 2023.

Mahalo to our AMOS and EMER-GEN community for their outpouring of Aloha and encouragement as Maui, our island home, manages the effects of the devastating fires of August 8-9.

Maui is NOT closed. We are receiving many enquiries about the misperception that the island of Maui is closed. In the words of our Mayor and Governor, West Maui (Lahaina) is closed, there are other parts of Maui and small businesses that are relying on responsible tourism and remaining open.

Based on the information we have today, the AMOS Conference is proceeding as planned September 19-22 in Wailea (South Maui.) The Conference venue has assured us that they are making rooms available to displaced residents and FEMA workers as well as being able to host our group. We are sensitive to the needs of the island and are monitoring the situation closely and will provide updates accordingly.

Our prayers and thoughts go to our Maui ‘Ohana in these difficult times.

KBR is proud to be a Kokua sponsor at this year’s AMOS Conference. KBR has a proven track record providing mission-critical space domain capabilities in support of our customers. KBR’s innovative science, engineering, and research and development work aids systems such as the Space Domain Characterization & Control System (SDCCS) and Dynamic Optical Telescope System (DOTS). From space domain awareness algorithms and analysis tools to hands-on national security solutions, KBR is proud to be the team behind the U.S. Space Force (USSF) Guardians.

We invite you to join us as we highlight our mission-critical space defense strategy and next-generation national security solutions for a variety of customers:
