KBR and Frazer-Nash have become one of the first defense focused organizations to join the Pride in Veterans Standard (PiVS), led by the charity organization Fighting with Pride (FWP) in support of LGBT+ veterans, serving personnel and their families. We join alongside other notable UK organizations such as Tesco, NHS trusts and local government councils.

Simon Davies, chair of KBR’s Armed Forces Community employee resource group (ERG) said, “In our commitment to supporting veterans, reservists and military spouses, the Pride in Veterans Standard recognizes the resilience, courage, and unique experiences of all LGBT+ veterans and of those currently serving. We will be working closer with the Pride + Allies ERG and Fighting with Pride to create an even safer and respectful space for everyone to flourish together.”

Fighting with Pride is a charitable organization registered on 19 October 2020, the 20th anniversary of the complete lifting of the ban on LGBT+ service. Their aim is to help thousands of people recover from the injustices suffered by the ban and restore the pride they once had when serving their country.

Caroline Paige MBE, CEO of FWP said, “As we begin Pride Month, we are excited to welcome KBR and Frazer-Nash as the 200th organization to join Fighting with Pride’s Pride in Veterans Standard. PiVS is a program that supports organizations in delivering inclusion for LGBT+ Veterans, serving personnel, and their families.

Keir Gravil, co-chair of KBR Pride & Allies and Frazer-Nash Business Manager said, “Frazer-Nash and KBR have a proud history of supporting veterans and providing a safe and welcoming space for those joining us from the armed forces. Adopting PiVS and working with Fighting with Pride takes us one more step along the journey, linking two communities together, and providing tailored support to those veterans who are also members of the LGBT+ community.”

At the heart of KBR’s shared values is a commitment to creating diverse and inclusive work environments in which every member of their team of teams feels safe, supported, respected, trusted and valued.

We wish all KBR and Frazer-Nash staff a Happy Pride Month.
