KBR Celebrates Fourth Annual Zero Harm Day

Publish date

KBR employees around the world recently participated in the company's fourth annual Zero Harm Day on February 20. Zero Harm is KBR's commitment to the safety and wellbeing of our people and the environment at all project sites and offices. Part of that commitment is recognizing individuals and projects for HSSE performance achievements and embracing the courage to care.

Safety for ourselves and for those around us is a core value at KBR and our annual Zero Harm Day celebration is a great way to foster those values at both work and at home," said Nick Anagnostou, Vice President, HSSE. "We saw tremendous safety performance improvements across the organization in 2018, including two months that were completely incident-free across KBR which represents 14 million of work hours performed safely. I look forward to the progress we will continue to make in 2019 and beyond."

KBR employees at office locations and project site in all corners of the world had their own unique safety-themed celebrations and events to show what being Zero Harm meant to them. Many activities included mental health and wellness demonstrations, safety presentations, fitness competitions and signing commitment banners to display throughout their offices. In addition, offices partnered with local vendors to provide safety and wellness education. This year's theme was "Take It Home" and employees sent in pictures and videos of their celebrations showing what being Zero Harm meant to them.
