As signatories to the Women in Defence, UK charter we have made a pledge that by working together with the defence sector we look to build a more gender balanced environment.

Nominations are open for the Women in Defence UK Awards 2020. Taking place on 23rd November, the Awards looks to recognise the achievements of the individuals working to make a difference within defence and security. Once again we have partnered with Women in Defence UK by supporting the Most Collaborative Award category.

Nominating someone is simple, just go to

Gender balance will not happen by chance. It will require a concerted effort across the enterprise, changing the overall dynamics, making defence a better place for everyone and ultimately, improving the output of defence.
