Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)

KBR is known for building reliable, cost-effective, technically superior liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities in challenging locations. Over the past 30 years, we have designed and constructed, alone or with joint venture partners, more than half of the world's operating LNG production capacity and designed over half of the grass-roots LNG receiving terminals in operation outside of Japan - more than any other contractor. We have built or are currently building LNG liquefaction projects in eight countries, often in areas where it has been necessary to create infrastructure and train a local workforce. KBR is at the forefront of designing the LNG "megatrains" of the future, having constructed the SEGAS facility in Egypt, which was the first 5.0 MTPA train ever built.
