Performance

KBR evaluates performance against defined Health, Safety and the Environment criteria and confirms that the Management System is achieving appropriate Health, Safety and Environment objectives, and fulfilling the intent of the policies. One key metric is the monitoring of work hours without a lost-time accident; in this area, KBR's dedication to safety excellence shines.

There are three industrial services projects where KBR has been onsite for at least 16 years without a single lost-time injury. At the Bayport Goodyear facility, KBR has set a company record by completing 28 years of work without a lost-time injury. The commitment to safety is an international one-KBR's EBIC Ammonia project in Egypt has logged 12 million man hours without a lost-time accident, while the Saudi Kayan Petrochemical project in Saudi Arabia has reached the sixty-five million man hour mark. Four LOGCAP projects in Afghanistan have exceeded four million man hours without a lost-time incident and the Skikda LNG project has exceeded three million hours.
