Awards

Over the past two years, KBR has received 70 awards of honor from the National Safety Council for exemplary performance in workplace safety. These awards have been given to projects across several of our business units and a diverse client base. We have also received an Order of Distinction Award, a Crystal Award, a Safety Performance Award and an Award of Recognition for HSE.

Specific projects recognized for safety excellence include:

  • Escravos (Nigeria) GTL project
  • Yas Island (UAE) infrastructure project
  • The Sterling Chemical Site, Texas City, Texas
  • The KBR ITI Facility, Deer Park, Texas
  • The Alliance refinery of ConocoPhillips in Belle Chase, Louisiana

KBR subsidiary M.W. Kellogg Ltd. has also been awarded the Order of Distinction by the United Kingdom's Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA). The RoSPA Order of Distinction is presented in recognition of more than 15 years of consecutive Gold Awards for excellence in health and safety at work. MWKL has met that standard 17 consecutive years, illustrating KBR's global commitment to safety.
