In 2011, KBR, its employees and vendors donated more than $3 million to eligible charities and educational organizations worldwide.

KBR’s primary areas of financial support are to education, health and the environment and looks to support programs and projects that give measureable results. We focus on supporting health initiatives that promote a healthy workforce and improve quality of life. We look for educational programs that offer a quality education for all youth with an emphasis on STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) subjects. And with regards to the environment we look for programs and initiatives that create healthier and more sustainable green spaces and water systems for everyday use, recreation and quality of life.

KBR preplans most of its next year giving by developing a giving plan from grant applications received in July of the previous year. Grant proposals may be submitted throughout the calendar year; however, if organizations want to be a part of that plan, it is recommended they submit their requests in July of the previous year.
