One of the critical elements of ensuring a sustainable future is to find ways to extend the life and reduce the environmental impact of non-renewable energy sources. While KBR takes pride in using the most advanced technologies in the industry, our engineers are constantly striving to find ways to improve efficiency. We remain on the lookout for opportunities or best practices that will help us toward four primary technical objectives:

  • The reductions in inefficiencies in using non-renewable resources;
  • Reducing emissions or waste generated by the technologies we market;
  • Increase the ability to recycle or reclaim waste products
  • Identification and marketing of technologies based on renewable energy sources.

Today, KBR is working on new technologies that will be put to use in the areas of sustainable design and construction, carbon emissions calculations and engineering and energy efficiencies determinations.
