Module and Pipe Fabrication

KBR's pipe fabrication and module capabilities have made us an industry leader since the 1970s. We are experts in providing process piping fabrication services through our 5-bay, 8,000 ton per year fabrication shop in Edmonton, Canada. Combining both field construction and shop fabrication capabilities, we construct and assemble process plant modules in a dedicated yard at our facilities. We have successfully built approximately 2,000 modules in the past 25 years and have consistently kept the pace with a rapidly increasing demand for modular fabrication. Our pipe fabrication facility generates approximately 50,000 weld diameter inch (WDI) per month on a one-shift basis, which makes it one of the largest and most innovative operations of its kind.

Our focus on hydro-electric generation and natural gas cogeneration facilities allows us to provide specialized fabrication for multi-trade industrial construction projects that can provide controlled spool manufacture and module erection, small bore and stainless steel spool fabrication and our modern resources supply high caliber products. We also specialize in the fabrication of offshore utility, accommodation and process modules and floating production storage offloading vessels (FPSOs).
