KBR has the proven ability to successfully and efficiently complete highly complex transportation infrastructure projects which often involve reconciling differing requirements from both the public and private sectors.
Our unique combination of services, processing technologies and engineering capabilities help customers achieve their design goals, lower costs and enhance aesthetics. Drawing on our international experience and qualified experts, KBR delivers a targeted range of services for transportation projects worldwide.
KBR engineered the world's largest Automated People Mover (APM) at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. The APM system consists of two independently bi-directional loops with an ultimate capacity of 8,500 passengers per hour. We designed the APM guideway system, stations, and infrastructure and managed the integration of the APM within the existing terminal. In the Middle East, we have worked on some of the region's largest projects, including the Qatar-Bahrain Causeway, known as the "Friendship Bridge." When complete, it will be the world's longest fixed link marine crossing.
Whatever the challenge, or the environment, KBR delivers successful transportation - whenever and wherever our clients need us.
